Claudie Cantet welcomes you to her surprising guest house in Gennes-Val-de-Loire.

She has 2 guest rooms that evoke the Loire. A troglodytic family room with independent access via a stone staircase and private terrace. This room is carved out of the rock, revealing the beautiful white tufa stone that gives it a soft, romantic atmosphere in a very attractive 38m² space. Sleeps up to 4 people.
The other room upstairs, with access via an outside staircase, is more traditional and bears the gentle name of "La Toue", a typical flat-bottomed Loire boat.

Would you like to enjoy an aperitif on one of the rooms' small terraces or in the garden? Take a seat... there's a good chance that a seagull or a tern will come and ask you for a few breadcrumbs before heading off to their island just opposite.
For dinner, Claudie recommends you try the gourmet Creole cuisine of the restaurant next door, "A Contre-Courant", which is run by her daughter and son-in-law.
The guest house has an enclosed courtyard, terraces with views over the Loire, garden furniture and barbecues.
If you are cycling, particularly on the Loire à Vélo itinerary, you can easily store your bicycles.
