On a hillside in the hills above Saumur, come and stay in this charming, tastefully renovated house.
Your hosts, Geneviève and Christian, will give you a warm welcome to this historic house built in 1695, with its unusual red doors and shutters and large central courtyard planted with trees and shrubs. On request, you can discover the 15th-century cellar, which contains a spring!
Inside, you'll find 3 spacious bedrooms with separate entrances, tastefully decorated in a well-balanced blend of old and new. The rooms are for 2 people, but one of them can now accommodate up to 4 thanks to 2 extra beds (convertible armchairs 100x190). The total capacity is 8 people.
In the morning, in the common room or on the terrace, take time out for a breakfast based on homemade products or selected from the best Saumur craftsmen. Before setting off to discover the riches of the region!
Also worth noting is the "Table d'hôtes" service, which is very much appreciated when you return from a visit or when you first arrive, so you don't have to go out again. Formulas "Ardoise" or "Menu", on prior reservation.
