With castles, treasure hunts, farm visits and Normandy product tastings, your children will adore discovering the colourful Orne countryside by bicycle! Here is our route suggestion:
Day 1: From Flers to Domfront (23 km)
From Flers go down the gentle slope to Domfront, crossing the Varenne river and the numerous sites that testify to the area's rich mining heritage. Take an educational break at the Varenne Forge !
Then, a short distance from the Greenway, take a quick excursion to Champsecret Farm to taste the delicious raw milk camembert.
Thus satisfied, you will gently arrive in the small medieval town of Domfront.

Stop off at Yonnière Farm, to discover all the secrets of Poiré Domfront (perry)(AOP) and pear juice!
Go back towards Domfront where you can dine in the heart of the medieval town (Bistrot St Julien, L’Echauguette, Le Grand Gousier, etc.)
